The recent 18th FINA World Championships in Gwangju, Republic of Korea, marked a 10 year partnership between FINA (Fédération Internationale de Natation) and leading swimming pool designer and manufacturer Myrtha Pools.
FINA President, Dr Julio C. Maglione; FINA Executive Director, Cornel Marculescu and Myrtha Pools Chief Executive, Roberto Colletto met after the High Diving finals in Chosun University to celebrate this significant anniversary.
At the meeting, Dr Maglione explained “the 10-year relationship between FINA and Myrtha Pools has demonstrated to be of tremendous benefit to international sport events, as a strong joint effort was created to promote and grow participation in the aquatics.”
To guarantee top performances and highlight each athlete’s skill, FINA require the best in facilities and equipment associated with their events. Together we have been able to grow and advance the sport of swimming, support swimmers of all levels and also introduce new swimmers to the water.”
